What kinds of insurance do you take?

We are in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO. If you have this insurance, we will handle all of the billing for you, and your care will be covered by your in-network benefits. If you have a different insurance, you will pay at each meeting, and your therapist will give you a form to submit to your insurance company, who will reimburse you directly according to your out-of-network benefits. Those benefits vary, of course, but almost all insurance companies reimburse some portion of the cost. For instance, our clients are often surprised to discover Blue Cross Blue Shield HMO covers 50% of the fee.

Can I do therapy by video if I don’t live in Illinois?

Every therapist at Artisan practices under an Illinois license, which means we are generally restricted by our licensure to helping people who are in the state of Illinois at the time of the meeting. If you live outside of Illinois, we strongly encourage you to reach out to friends or family for local therapist recommendations. The Psychology Today Therapist Finder is also an excellent tool for finding a quality therapist near you.

What if I don’t want to schedule now but want to get on your wait list for the future?
